Efficiency is not always the goal. Technology cannot always solve our problems. However, when applied critically process automation can help move projects and processes forward.
When working on an analysis project I always try to code the process out rather than doing it in an ad-hoc manner. This reduces time as we have a clear chain of what analysis was done. Additionally, if parameters need to change the process can easily be run again.
My goal is to create actionable insights in the least amount of time and in a repeatable manner.
